Beijing Xingtong Lianhua Techenology CO., LTD
(also known as Beijing SATCOM ITS) specializes in developing
and marketing products of Intelligent Transportation System
(ITS) and 3S technology. SATCOM ITS was established in
April 2003 with its headquarter located at ZhongGuanCun
Technology Campus, Beijing, China. Major share holders
of SATCOM ITS include Huajian Traffic, XinChangDa Technology
Co., Wuhan University and Chinese University of Geology.
Dr. Li Deren, an academician of Chinese Academy of Natural
Science and Chinese Academy of Social Science, is the
company's chief scientist.
SATCOM ITS has been dedicated
to technological innovation. It has set up six research
and development centers in Chinese University of Geology,
ZhongGuanCun Technology Campus, Wu Han University, Changsha
Institute of Technology, Detroit,USA and Vancouver, Canada.
While importing, absorbing and applying advanced technologies
developed abroad, SATCOM ITS has also established cooperative
relations and joint ventures with various local departments
of transportation in China in order to promote the application
of technology, information service and artificial intelligence
in China’s transportation systems.
SATCOM ITS has devoted
itself to the development and marketing of advanced ITS
technologies that include inspection and data collection
of roads & bridges, diagnosis and analysis of distress
and conditions of roadbeds and road surfaces, 3D electronic
road mapping, data collection of road GIS and its system
platform development, GIS integrated pipeline network
control system and vehicle plate number identification
system. Currently, a series of products based on the above
technologies are already on the market. A complete system
of rapid road inspection vehicles has been purchased by
National Traffic Corporation, Korea. Its kernel software
modules have been exported to countries such as Italy,
Iran, and Japan.
SATCOM also produces
software and hardware deployed in the construction, maintenance
and management of highways including intelligent inspection
vehicles for distress of road surfaces and roadbeds, all-weather
vehicle plate number identification systems, road GIS
systems, management information systems for road maintenance,
road condition management systems and automatic road mapping
vehicles.
